SIBA seal of approval for Wold Top Brewery beers

Wold Newton based Wold Top Brewery gained silver for gluten free beer Wold Top Against the Grain in the bottled speciality beers category and bronze for Shepherd's Watch in the bottled bitter (over 5% ABV) category of the SIBA (Society of Independent Breweries) North Region Beer Competition in Manchester last week. Angler's Reward reaps its own reward!

Angler's Reward has just won the drinks section in the Yorkshire Post Taste Awards. We were really pleased as this beer has had nothing but praise since it first was brewed in the spring. We are now looking at making it a permanent beer in cask and also in bottle. It's 4% abv just seems to fit exactly into our pub customers profiles and it's taste to their customers wishes. Hunmanby brewery supports Jazz Festival with bespoke beer

Award-winning Wold Top Brewery will be providing a special North Yorkshire ale to celebrate the ninth Scarborough Jazz Festival (23rd - 25th September). This year's Festival Ale is a tawny coloured ale with a malty bitterness and a clean hoppy finish. Yorkshire brewery enlists help to win national competition

As the final plans are being made for British Food Fortnight (17th September to 2nd October), an East Yorkshire micro-brewery is appealing for people to support its bid to win a national competition.
