Angler's Reward has just won the drinks section in the Yorkshire Post Taste Awards. We were really pleased as this beer has had nothing but praise since it first was brewed in the spring. We are now looking at making it a permanent beer in cask and also in bottle. It's 4% abv just seems to fit exactly into our pub customers profiles and it's taste to their customers wishes. Award-winning Wold Top Brewery will be providing a special North Yorkshire ale to celebrate the ninth Scarborough Jazz Festival (23rd - 25th September). This year's Festival Ale is a tawny coloured ale with a malty bitterness and a clean hoppy finish.
