A Scarborough based charity has stepped up its fundraising drive following news from Haiti that the incidence of cholera has increased dramatically following recent flooding. A Yorkshire Wolds micro-brewery is to host a fund raising event for Wold Newton based charity SASH (Sustainable Aid Supporting Haiti). Last year, Wold Top Brewery Directors Tom and Gill Mellor were approached by former employees Will Brown and Melanie Coull who set up SASH to help people in the rural areas of Haiti who were badly affected by the aftermath of the January 2010 earthquake.
