Brewery owners embark on epic fundraising challenge

An epic cycling challenge involving an East Yorkshire brewing couple got underway at the weekend. On 16th April, a team of eight, including Wold Newton based Wold Top Brewery directors Tom and Gill Mellor embarked on the famous Lands End to John O'Groats cycle ride and hope to raise a considerable amount for Prostate UK and Breast Cancer Campaign along the way. The team, comprising four men and four women whose average age is 50, plans to ride 80 miles a day and complete the challenging 1100 mile ride in only 14 days.
