Here's the latest Directors' Diary from the newsletter.  It seems to have flown by but we’ve reached a great milestone in the brewery these last weeks - our 4000th brew! Each batch of beer we produce is given a batch number (often referred to as a gyle number in the brewing industry) which is used to trace, track and monitor the beer as it passes through the brewhouse and out to trade. We're partnering with Bridlington Road Runners to host a second 10k trail race

We're pleased to share the news that we're hosting a second trail race with Bridlington Road Runners. The success of last year's event has prompted a repeat running of the all-terrain race around the brewery’s farm and the Yorkshire Wolds. The Wold Top 10k run takes place at Hunmanby Grange on 14th September and also features a children’s 1k fun run, a hog roast and an option to camp at the award-winning brewery on the top of the Wolds. Here at Hunmanby Grange Farm, the home of Wold Top, we are currently preparing for one of the most important parts of our farming year – spring drilling. There are two types of crop plantings available to farmers: winter and spring. Winter barley and winter wheat varieties are sown shortly after harvest, late September through October, whilst spring barley and spring wheat are sown as the weather turns warmer and is more ‘springlike’.
