Gluten Free Beer

All our gluten free beer is brewed in the same way that we brew all our Wold Top Beers.

The one difference is that we don’t add any Wheat to the brew.

Wheat is normally added for two reasons – head retention and Wheat Beer Style. Wheat Beer is a style of beer, one that is widely found throughout Europe and often but not exclusively brewed as a cloudy beer.

The head retention and lacing down the glass are still present without the wheat but not as long lasting.

Our unique formulation allows our brewers to produce gluten free beer.  All our gluten free beers are tested using the CODEX R5 ELISA test and are well below the 20ppm CODEX standard required for gluten free.
