An East Yorkshire micro brewery is celebrating after learning that three of the pubs that it supplies have won first prize in the CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) Hull and East Yorkshire Pubs of the Year competition.
Wold Newton based Wold Top Brewery supplies its award-winning ales to Hull's Lion and Key, winner of the Hull Pub of the Year 2011, the Rose and Crown at Little Driffield, winner of the East Yorkshire Town Pub and the Goodmanham Arms, winner of the East Yorkshire Country Pub award.
Commenting on the wins, brewery owner Tom Mellor said; "We're really pleased that the pubs have won these prestigious awards that help to spread the word about how good real ale is. It was also pleasing that we supply beer to two out of the three runners up too!"
