Award-winning East Coast brewery Wold Top Brewery is celebrating after enjoying its most successful Christmas and New Year to date. Award-winning Wold Top Brewery will be one of a number of North Yorkshire businesses to support Scarborough?s second farmers? market next month. The market, which launched in November, will be held at Scarborough College on Filey Road between 10am and 1pm on Sunday 1st February. Award-winning brewery raises money for historic locomotive trust

A Wold Newton brewery has raised ?320 for?The Sir Nigel Gresley Locomotive Preservation Trust Ltd. Award-winning Wold Top Brewery donated 10p from the sale of each bottle of its popular locomotive ale, A4 Amber, at events throughout 2008, including the popular Spring?LNER Steam Festival. Visitors to the festival were treated to an impressive line up of engines including the three working Gresley A4 Pacifics; Sir Nigel Gresley, Union of South Africa and Bittern and a newly restored North Eastern Railway?Q6 No 63395.
