Glastonbury comes to Scarborough

As hordes of music fans enjoyed the annual Glastonbury festival last week, an enterprising family closer to home is planning its own event.

Staxtonbury Family Music Festival takes place at Manor Farm, Staxton from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th July and will showcase the finest local groups, singers and musicians including chart topping York band Morpheus Rising, Grand Urge, Bigme, Shamrockers, Blue Alibi, Bad Panda and Swagger.

There is plenty to do for all the family.? Award-winning Hunmanby brewery, Wold Top Brewery, will be running the Real Ale bar and there will be a bouncy castle, slides and lots of fun, free things for kids to do. Camping is also available on site.
