We're excited to launch the first Wold Top Recipe Book

The team here at Hunmanby Grange have collaborated with local chefs, colleagues and friends to develop the first Wold Top Recipe Book. The book features 16 beer-inspired recipes including Marmalade Porter and Black Onion Seed Bread, Scarborough Fair IPA Cured Mackerel and Hello Velo Beer and Malt Doughnuts to raise money for Westway Open Arms. Scarborough Fair IPA wins a silver medal at the Free From Food Awards

The team here are celebrating after winning a silver medal at the 15th annual Free From Food Awards. Scarborough Fair IPA was one of just two silver medal winners in the Gluten-Free category of the awards that attracted over 500 entries in a range of classes. Judges described our English style triple hopped IPA as: ‘A lovely, light-coloured IPA that’s well balanced and delivers throughout. New barrel-aged lager

We've teamed up with our sister company, Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery to launch a third barrel-aged beer. Together, we have created Crest, a limited-edition lager that has been matured for over a year in casks that had previously contained Filey Bay Flagship whisky from Yorkshire’s first single malt whisky distillery. This month sees the release of our third barrel-aged beer and we’re very excited about it! Barrel-aged beer is beer that has been aged (sorry to state the obvious here!) for a period of time in a wooden barrel. Typically, these barrels will be ex-bourbon, whisky or wine with the odd sherry, brandy and port barrel used every now and again.
