New book festival promises to be a Best Seller

A Yorkshire coast brewery is supporting the inaugural 'Books by the Beach' festival with a bespoke beer. Hunmanby based Wold Top Brewery has produced a limited edition beer, Best Seller, to mark the new Scarborough Book Festival that takes place between 24th and 27th April. The stellar literary line-up includes Kate Adie, Joanne Harris, Sally Magnusson, Greta Scacchi, James Naughtie and Joanne Trollope. Wolds brewery celebrates Waitrose listing

The team at Yorkshire Wolds microbrewery, Wold Top Brewery is celebrating after gaining a listing for two of its award-winning real ales in selected Waitrose stores nationwide. Great Taste three star gold beer, Wold Gold, 4.8% ABV, is continental style blonde beer with a soft, fruity flavour and a hint of spice that will be listed in 85 stores from 24th February whilst Anglers' Reward, 4% ABV, a refreshing golden pale ale with a fruity bitterness & lingering aftertaste, will be in 84 stores from the same date. Wolds brewery celebrates Remarkable shortlist

A Yorkshire Wolds micro brewery that straddles the border of East and North Yorkshire is celebrating after being shortlisted for a prestigious tourism award. Hunmanby based Wold Top Brewery has been shortlisted in the Remarkable Fayre category of the REYTAs (Remarkable East Yorkshire Tourism Awards) and faces stiff competition from other Yorkshire producers including the Yorkshire Wolds Cookery School, the Side Oven Bakery and Staal Smokehouse Ltd. Another successful evening at the Yorkshire Wolds Cookery School

The recent beer and cheese event at the Yorkshire Wolds Cookery School was a great success once again. The recipes reflected the change in season and the beers also included our winter seasonal, Shepherd's Watch abv 6%. This delicious dark beer was used as an ingredient in two recipes and as the beer match to the Brownies with Fine Fettle frosting.
