Another successful evening at the Yorkshire Wolds Cookery School

Posted by Wold Top Brewery on

The recent beer and cheese event at the Yorkshire Wolds Cookery School was a great success once again. The recipes reflected the change in season and the beers also included our winter seasonal, Shepherd's Watch abv 6%. This delicious dark beer was used as an ingredient in two recipes and as the beer match to the Brownies with Fine Fettle frosting. It was this match that became the beer and food match of the evening. The recipe (click here to view) has to be the one to try at home to see just what you missed. The Shepherd's Watch should be served at room temperature in a large wine glass. This allows the aromas to develop and maximum enjoyment of the beer flavours to be tasted.

The other memorable match was the 3star Gold great taste award duo of Bluemin White cheese and Wold Gold.

Our guests left laden with beer, cheese and some excellent offers from the cookery school - all the best possible Christmas presents.

Cheers!
