An award winning East Yorkshire microbrewery has just shipped its third order of beer to Finland. Wold Newton business, Wold Top Brewery, has reported unprecedented export growth over the last 12 months, with business coming from countries including Italy, Canada and the Falkland Islands. A charity auction of farm machinery and implements helped to raise £38,000 for Yorkshire charities and for Flixton and Folkton villages. Staff at G M Stephenson Ltd of Flixton appealed to local farmers to scour their sheds to see if they had anything to add to the charity auction and asked local businesses and individuals to support the fundraiser by donating goods or services for an auction of promises.
