We're looking forward to hosting the second Sundown 60 sportive

If you fancy taking part in a sportive with a difference, come and join us here at the brewery on Bank Holiday Sunday for the second Sundown 60. The Sundown 60 challenges convention as, instead of an early morning start, riders will depart at 1.30pm. The challenging route takes riders on a spectacular 60 mile route into the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds and Ryedale. This time, it's Welcome to Yorkshire's super prestigious White Rose Awards and we've been shortlisted in the Taste of Yorkshire category. We're one of six finalists and face tough competition from Cannon Hall Farm, Barnsley; Cedar Barn Farm Shop, Pickering; Fodder, Harrogate; Miller's Fish and Chips, York and The Firebox Café, Hawes. Brewery team wins fundraising dragon boat race

We're delighted to report that the Wold Top Warriors team of oarsmen stormed into first place when they competed in the Rotary Club of Scarborough Cavaliers’ dragon boat race at Wykeham Lakes recently. The sixteen-strong team, comprising staff, family and friends of the brewery, was one of 26 teams entering the races that took place on Sunday June 11. Teams were divided into the gold and silver races according to their results in the first two qualifying races and the Wold Top Warriors won the gold final.
