In the same week that we welcomed the fifth generation of the Mellor family, we're thrilled to report that we won a prestigious award for our exporting excellence - the Hull Daily Mail Business Awards Exporter of the Year.
Export Manager, Kate Balchin, mother of the new born twins, Elizabeth and Matilda said: “It was fantastic to top off a memorable week with this award. The judges, Helen Roberts, HR director at KCOM; Victoria Jackson MBE, founder of Kingston Recruitment and Jan Brumby, chief executive of For Entrepreneurs Only, were looking for businesses that had developed new markets outside of Hull and the East Riding. Wold Top Brewery beat stiff competition from Heald Ltd be announced the winner at the awards ceremony at Mercure Hull Grange Park Hotel in Willerby.
