Microbrewery toasts premiere with bespoke beer

A Yorkshire coast microbrewery has brewed a bespoke beer to celebrate the premiere of a new play by one of the world's leading playwrights. Wold Newton based Wold Top Brewery was asked by the team at the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough to create a beer for Muddy Cows, which opened on 9th July. Yorkshire micro brewery wins national award for Innovation

The team at a Yorkshire coast microbrewery is celebrating after winning a prestigious national award. Bridlington based Wold Top Brewery was the winner of the Red Ribbon Award for 'Innovation' at a gala awards ceremony in London on 5th July. Over 200 people joined Kate and Alex Balchin from Wold Top Brewery at the Lancaster Hotel London to celebrate the achievements of the finest family businesses around the country at the event that was hosted by Family Business Place. Bridlington businesses showcase Wolds food and drink

Manor Farm Beef and Wold Top Brewery have been invited to participate in a unique event to showcase Yorkshire's finest artisan producers. 'Taste the Wolds' takes place at the Robert Fuller Gallery in Thixendale between 10am and 4.30pm on 13th July and follows on from the successful Taste the Wolds evening event last year.
