More Award Success for Yorkshire Coast Brewery

An East Yorkshire micro brewery is celebrating after learning that it has been shortlisted for another two prestigious awards.

Wold Newton based Wold Top Brewery is building on its SIBA Best Green Business award win earlier in the year with a shortlisted place in the Chamber, Bridlington and Yorkshire Coast, Business Awards for Best Green Business and its export success has been recognised with a place in the final of the Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business Exporter award.

Commenting on the shortlists, Brewery director Gill Mellor said, "We have had a fabulous year, with some exciting product launches like Hello Velo and Mallard Beer and to have reached the finals of another two awards is amazing. We're very proud that our small team is putting Yorkshire Wolds producers firmly on the map."

The Chamber, Bridlington and Yorkshire Coast, Business Awards winners will be announced at a dinner at Bridlington Spa Royal Hall on 11th October and the winners of the Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business awards will be announced at a glittering ceremony at The Queens hotel in Leeds on the evening of October 31.
