The third stage of the Tour de Yorkshire finishes just a few miles away from the brewery, in beautiful Scarborough, on Saturday, 5th May. All along the route, local pubs will have our cycling inspired ale, Hello Velo in cask and there will be a limited number ofbottles available too. The gardens and the brewery will be open between 11am and 5pm on 2nd and 3rd June and proceeds from the entry money will go via the National Garden Scheme to nursing charities including Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie and Parkinson’s UK. St. Cuthbert’s church in neighbouring Burton Fleming will benefit from the proceeds from teas and coffees. We're delighted to have joined forces with Books by the Beach, Scarborough book festival for the fifth year to create that perfect combination - books and beer! This year's festival beer naming competition was themed around Mary's Shelley's MONSTER creation - which is celebrating its 200th birthday. The simple but clever winning name is FRANKIE'S STEIN and each visiting author at the book festival will receive a special bottled beer in their goodie bag.
