Meet the brew team in our latest newsletter

Left to right are Tony, Andrew, Andy and David and here's an insight into what makes them tick.. Tony is the elder statesman of the brew team and has been with the brewery since 2004. When he’s not brewing or maintaining the high quality of our ales, he can be found cycling or bird-watching in the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds. Unsurprisingly, given his cycling prowess, his favourite beer is Hello Velo. Andrew is also a keen cyclist and loves a good curry with overly cheesed garlic naan – preferably whilst watching Wheeler Dealers or Seinfeld! Look out for our latest limited edition cask ale, Ursa Minor

The third of our limited edition Constellation Series beers goes on sale in selected pubs throughout Yorkshire this month. Ursa Minor, 4.0% ABV, is inspired by American brewing traditions and is brewed using two of the USA’s most popular hops, Cascade and Centennial with Pale Ale, Crystal 150 and Wheat Malts. We're proud to be SALSA accredited for the sixth year running

We're please to report that we have retained our Safe and Local Supplier Approval (SALSA) food safety assurance certification following a recent audit. The SALSA standards are written by food safety experts and incorporate the legal requirements that producers must meet and best practice for professional food buyers. In order to gain SALSA, we have to demonstrate our ability to produce safe and legal food and to continually comply to SALSA standards.
