Three award winning Yorkshire businesses are collaborating to host a beer and cheese pairing evening. On 27th June, the Yorkshire Wolds Cookery School at Southburn, near Driffield will host a unique gastro event and sampling evening with its first Artisanal Beer and Cheese Pairing. Brewery's Blonde Beer wins War of the Roses competition

A Yorkshire coast microbrewery is celebrating its success in a War of the Roses themed beer competition. Wold Newton based Wold Top Brewery's blonde beer Wold Gold beat stiff competition from Lancashire beer Bad to the Bone and Hurricane from Haworth Steam Brewery to win the accolade of Best Beer at the Wilsden Beer Festival near Bradford recently. Yorkshire coast microbrewery Wold Top Brewery is preparing for its sponsorship of a Chelsea Flower Show garden next week (21-25 May) by brewing a nature inspired beer. 'As Nature Intended' ale is named after the show garden that is being created by award winning Yorkshire garden designer, Jamie Dunstan for Stockton Drilling.
