Enthusiastic cyclists will be venturing back out into the Wolds thanks to the work of organisers and sponsors, including Wold Top Brewery, who have come together to host the Wolds 123 sportive for the third year running. Riders on the Wolds 123 will have the chance to take in the best of the Wolds when the non-timed 123km event returns on Sunday, July 3. A unique cycling sportive initiated by the managers of one of Yorkshire’s most successful racing teams this season, and hosted by the Wold Top Brewery, has been launched. Organised by Richard Baldwin and David Hought from Wold Top Actif Road Racing Team, the first Sundown 60 sportive will take place at Wold Top Brewery on Sunday, August 28th. This sportive challenges convention as, instead of an early morning start, riders will depart at 2.30pm. We have turned to the beach for inspiration for our new range of beers. We have just launched the first in a series of five limited edition ‘Coastal Series’ beers that reflect the Yorkshire coastline just three miles from our farm based location.  Available in cask only from pubs and restaurants throughout Yorkshire, Coastal Series 1 is a 4% ABV clean, crisp, blonde beer with a fruity flavour and hints of spice.
