Award-winning Wold Top Brewery is bottling a special Spa Ale to celebrate the reopening of Bridlington Spa.
The newly refurbished Spa opens on 31st May with a concert from top Yorkshire-based Indie band The Pigeon Detectives following a multi-million pound redevelopment programme.? A week long schedule of events leads up to the public open day on 7th June.
Wold Top Brewery has bottled its best selling Wolds Way Pale Ale with a special, limited edition label to commemorate the occasion.? Brewed to traditional recipes using home grown Maris Otter malt, Goldings and Cascade hops and the farm?s own pure, chalk-filtered water, Wolds Way is an uncomplicated and refreshing Pale Ale with an ABV of 3.6%.
Tom Mellor, who owns the brewery with his wife, Gill, explains, ?We?re delighted to have been asked to bottle this commemorative ale. The Yorkshire Wolds Way passes within a quarter of a mile of the farm where the Brewery is sited and within 10 miles of Bridlington, so it was the logical choice.?
Wold Top Brewery produces real ales that are brewed using traditional methods and home grown ingredients.? The range of seasonal and all year round beers include award winning Wold Gold and Falling Stone, Voluptuous Vicky and newcomers Centenary Way Mild and Keeper?s Light.? They are available to buy via the websitewww.woldtopbrewery.co.uk or by calling the brewery on 01723 892222.
