Award-winning Wold Top Brewery is ensuring that visitors to this year?s 25th anniversary Beverley Folk Festival (20-22nd June) will be suitably refreshed by brewing a special Festival Ale.
The draught real ale (ABV 4.2%) is a light, easy drinking beer with a hint of fruit and will be on sale in the Festival Village at the Festival?s main site, Memorial Hall, Beverley Leisure Complex, the Green Dragon and a number of local pubs and in bottles at Roberts and Speight in Norwood over the Festival Weekend.?
Cally Barker, one of the organisers of this popular event, is delighted that the Festival will have a bespoke beer ?We?re very fortunate to have such a good micro-brewery on our doorstep and the fact that we have a unique festival ale will be very well received by many of the anticipated 5000 visitors.? The festival has become one of the best loved music events in the country, with its friendly atmosphere, great acoustic and amazing variety.?
Now in it?s 25th year, Beverley Folk Festival is a song and dance extravaganza over 3 nights and 2 days that showcases local talent as well big names like The Buzzcocks, The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain and Waterson Carthy.
