East Yorkshire brewery?s new light beer

Posted by Wold Top Brewery on

Wold Top Brewery has increased its range of award-winning real ales with the launch of a new beer.

Inspired by the people who once operated and maintained the lighthouses around East Yorkshire?s coastline and brewed within range of Flamborough Lighthouse?s beacon, Keeper?s Light is a crisp, full bodied amber beer with a citrussy bitterness and an ABV of 4.5%.

Keeper?s Light is a limited edition seasonal ale that will be launched alongside Wold Top Brewery?s latest all year round ale, Centenary Way Mild, at the Ryedale Festival of Food and Drink Festival at Castle Howard on 25th and 26th May.

Visitors to the fourth two day food and drink extravaganza will be able to taste the new ales and will be able to buy other beers from the award-winning range that includes all year round ales Wold Top Bitter, Wold Gold, Falling Stone, Mars Magic and Wolds Way together with seasonal specials like A4 Amber and Voluptuous Vicky.

Tom Mellor comments ?It will be great to launch both light and dark beers at Castle Howard.? Visitors over 18 will be able to compare and contrast the two beers and see which they prefer.?

Wold Top Brewery produces real ales that are brewed using traditional methods and home grown ingredients.? They are available to buy via the website or by calling the brewery on 01723 892222.

Award-winning Wold Gold will also be on sale in the public bar at the Ryedale Festival.
