Wold Gold strikes silver at London Beer Competition

We're over the moon that our continental style blonde beer, Wold Gold won both Best in Show (by Country) and a silver medal at the London Beer Competition recently. Save the date - 2nd and 3rd June - brewery and gardens open weekend!

The gardens and the brewery will be open between 11am and 5pm on 2nd and 3rd June and proceeds from the entry money will go via the National Garden Scheme to nursing charities including Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie and Parkinson’s UK. St. Cuthbert’s church in neighbouring Burton Fleming will benefit from the proceeds from teas and coffees. Books by the Beach beer naming competition winner named

We're delighted to have joined forces with Books by the Beach, Scarborough book festival for the fifth year to create that perfect combination - books and beer! This year's festival beer naming competition was themed around Mary's Shelley's MONSTER creation - which is celebrating its 200th birthday. The simple but clever winning name is FRANKIE'S STEIN and each visiting author at the book festival will receive a special bottled beer in their goodie bag. When he’s not brewing or maintaining the high quality of our ales, he can be found cycling or bird-watching in the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds. Look out for our latest limited edition cask ale, Ursa Minor

The third of our limited edition Constellation Series beers goes on sale in selected pubs throughout Yorkshire this month. Ursa Minor, 4.0% ABV, is inspired by American brewing traditions and is brewed using two of the USA’s most popular hops, Cascade and Centennial with Pale Ale, Crystal 150 and Wheat Malts.
