Wold Top Brewery is taking its award winning gluten free beer to the Gluten Free Food Fayre in York this weekend.

Organised by the Hull and East Riding branch of Coeliac UK, the fayre takes place on 8th May at the Bar Convent on Blossom Street between 10.30 and 2.30 and will feature a host of stalls and information for people with coeliac disease.? It is expected that over 1500 people from all over the North of England will attend the event in a 17th Century working convent.

Wold Top Brewery?s Against the Grain, is brewed with maize, not wheat and is a full flavoured bitter beer with a good head, refreshing bitterness and a citrus hop after taste. It has an ABV of 4.5% and its gluten content is certified to be well below the Codex standard of 20ppm.

People with coeliac disease have to exclude gluten from their diet and often find it difficult to source gluten free foods that are as tasty as their ?mainstream? counterparts.

Coeliac UK is the leading charity working for people with coeliac disease and dermatitis herpetiformis (DH).? Its mission is to improve the lives of people with coeliac disease through support,?campaigning?and?research.
