We're celebrating our shortlist success in Yorkshire rural and business awards

The teams at Wold Top and Spirit of Yorkshire are celebrating after learning that we have reached the finals of two awards schemes -  the Yorkshire Post Rural Awards and the York Press Business Awards.

In the Yorkshire Post Rural Awards, we have reached the final of both the Sustainability/Environment Award and the Food and Drink Producer Award where we face stiff competition from Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery and other finalists, Soanes Poultry, Moonshine Ice Cream and Yorvale. Spirit of Yorkshire has also been shortlisted for the Rural Tourist Attraction and Hospitality Award. The winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Pavilions of Harrogate on 8th October.

In the York Press Business Awards, we have been shortlisted for the Family Business Award and Spirit of Yorkshire for the Small Business Award. The winners will be announced on 25th November at an event at York Racecourse.

Our Director, Kate said: “Like many businesses, we have faced challenges over the last 18 months, but it’s good to see things gradually getting back to normal and awards ceremonies as live events instead of virtual ones. We’re very pleased and proud to have reached the finals of these prestigious local awards and we’re really looking forward to the events.”
