Coeliac Welcome Evening

An award-winning farm based East Yorkshire micro brewery is inviting coeliacs to visit its award winning brewery and TV featured garden next week (13th June).

Wold Newton based Wold Top Brewery decided to host an Open Evening after experiencing unprecedented feedback following their attendance at Gluten Free Food and Drink Fairs. Brewery Director Gill Mellor said; "We have been brewing and refining the recipe and taste of Wold Top Against The Grain for a few years now and have been overwhelmed by customer feedback and award wins about today's great tasting beer that we decided to launch a second gluten free beer, Scarborough Fair IPA, earlier this year."

The Open Evening takes place between 6.30 and 9.00pm at Wold Top Brewery, Hunmanby Grange, Wold Newton on Wednesday 13th June.

Entry to the event is £5 per person, payable on the door, and includes a brewery tour, a garden visit, a half pint of either Wold Top Against The Grain or the new Scarborough Fair IPA and tea or coffee and gluten free cake. This is the second time that Gill Mellor's garden has been open to the public in the last two weeks. Despite less than clement weather, Gill and the Wold Top team managed to raise over £1180 for NGS charities and £225 for St. Cuthbert's Church in the neighbouring village of Burton Fleming with an NGS Open Gardens and Brewery Open Weekend on 2nd and 3rd June.
