
Walking the Wolds - Morning Walk
Join us on the 6th August and step out into the great outdoors with an informative, guided walk with Malcolm Hodgson of National Trails.
Malcolm will lead a 3 hour walk, touching on aspects of the history and geology of the area, taking in the superb surroundings on the Brewery's doorstep, and chatting about the Yorkshire Wolds Way and National Trails.
The walk will finish up at the Brewery where the Wold Top Bar will be ready to serve you refreshing drinks, and a substantial outdoor Afternoon Tea will be served, consisting of sandwiches, savoury pastries, scone with cream and jam and a selection of cakes.
Start and end point: Wold Top Brewery, Hunmanby Grange, Wold Newton, Driffield, YO25 3HS
Start time: 9.30am - 2.30pm
Length of Walk: 6.5 mile guided walk - approximately 3 hours walking.
Cost: £12.50 - includes guided walk, Afternoon Tea and a pint of beer or soft drink
If this event proves very popular tickets will be made available for a second walk to take place at 1.30pm.
We recommend that you must be over 7 years of age and readily able to walk the entire route. No dogs permitted as the route crosses fields with livestock.
Please bring appropriate clothing and footwear for walking in all weathers, as well as your own water for the route.
