The team here at Hunmanby Grange are celebrating after winning three awards in an industry wide beer competition.
Scarborough Fair IPA and Headland Red won gold awards at the SIBA (Society of Independent Brewers) North East Regional Keg awards last week, with Headland Red going on to be awarded bronze in the national SIBA Independent Beer Awards 2020 at BeerX UK in Liverpool.
Multi award winning Scarborough Fair IPA, 6% ABV, is a triple hopped gluten free beer whilst Headland Red is a red beer with a mellow, malty flavour and an ABV of 4.3%. Both beers are available in cask and kegs in pubs and in bottles from independent retailers and online here, with free delivery on two or more cases.
Our Brewery Manager, Alex is very pleased with the awards: “Our team are committed to brewing great beers using Yorkshire grown cereals and water from our farm’s borehole, so it’s really rewarding when brewers and industry experts judge our beer as award winning.
“In these uncertain times, it’s more important than ever to support our region’s independent manufacturers and retailers and we’re grateful to SIBA for helping to facilitate this.”
“The SIBA Independent Beer Awards 2020 were our biggest ever, and with an incredibly high standard of beer across the board,” said SIBA Competitions Chair, Guy Sheppard.
