We’ve all been walking around the brewhouse with smiles on our faces these last couple of weeks as cask beer has finally been able to leave the brewery and be enjoyed in pub gardens, outdoor areas and terraces by people who have been able to leave home and get out and about.
Especially poignant was our first delivery to the Bosville Arms in Rudston, just down the road from the brewery, which after five years has now reopened as a community pub. A positive story after the last 12 months of negatives!
The countdown now is on for the 17th May when many more of our customers, who’ve been unable to open due to lack of outdoor space, can start welcoming people back indoors. All digits crossed that things continue as they are and this date happens as planned!
So here at the Brewery, we’re gradually upping our stocks, readying the vans and planning routes in anticipation.
If going out isn’t quite right for you yet though, then don’t worry - our online shop will always be open for business.
Things opening up have also allowed us to start planning some events here at Wold Top HQ. Our first outdoor beer and food event (Fish & Chips) was a sellout and our Pizza & Beer event takes place on the 14th May.
We’re most excited about hosting our first beer festival since 2019 at the end of August, something really nice to plan for and look forward to at the end of what we hope will be a busy and productive summer for the hospitality sector.
Thanks for all your support and we look forward to sharing some beers with you soon!
