Ever wanted to name a beer? Books by the Beach are running a competition to name our new beer.
As sponsors of the Scarborough Book Festival, Wold Top are providing the brew which will bear the winning name. This year, the literary twist on the festival ale naming competition celebrates the 200th birthday of Charlotte Bronte, and the connection her sister Anne had with Scarborough.
Can you come up with a Bronte-inspired beer name?
You could win a Wold Top presentation pack which includes your own named bottles, two complimentary tickets to the World of Charlotte Bronte event (taking place at 10am on the 16th April 2016 at Scarborough Library Concert Hall) and a pair of tickets to see Melvynn Bragg at The Spa Theatre, 7:30pm on 15th April.
All visiting authors will also be presented with the winning beer to take home as a souvenir, so thinking caps and Bronte bonnets on!
To enter the competition, please email your entry to Heather at Books by the Beach or Sue Wilkinson at Scarborough News. Only one entry per person is permitted and the closing date is Friday 11th March.
Find out what else Books by the Beach has to offer, read the Scarborough Book Festival Programme.
Books and Beer - a perfect combination! Cheers everybody and good luck!
