An award-winning micro brewery is one of a number of Yorkshire producers to support the annual Galtres Festival near York.

Wold Top Brewery from Wold Newton near Driffield will support the one day Festival of Fun, Music and Dance - Food, Beers and Ciders for the second time by supplying its Falling Stone and A4 Amber cask ales for the extensive bar.? Falling Stone is an award-winning 4.2% ABV premium best bitter that is named after the first UK recorded meteorite that fell close to the site of the brewery in 1795 and now resides in the British Museum.? The festival features the best of North Yorkshire?s independent breweries, an exciting line-up of acoustic acts and bands and catering featuring local produce. Billed as a family day out and ?a right good stomp?, the adults can indulge their love of fine food, ale and music whilst the youngsters enjoy a full programme of workshops and activities including metal bashing and video making.

The event takes place at Huby Sports Pavillion from 12 noon to 11pm on Sunday 24 August 2008 and Advance tickets: cost ?6 for Adults, ?2.50 for children or ?17.00 for a family ticket (two adults and up to three children).?
